Anne Hodgson achieved her law degree at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She moved to Australia in 1979. She has practised law since 1982, including six years as a partner of two sizeable CBD law firms in Melbourne.

Anne established the firm, Anne Hodgson & Co Lawyers, in September 1996.

Anne supports The Blue Hat Project (www.bluehatproject.org.au) which is committed to raising awareness about depression through encouraging people to be creative, to socalise and to be comfortable talking about 'having the blues'.
